Alternate Routes to Justice: A Report from Shared Safety

This report was developed in 2023 by a working group that aimed to explore what justice means for survivors of relational violence. This working group was proposed and led by staff at WOAR: Philadelphia Center Against Sexual Violence (Quinn Pellerito and Joey Brodsky). The working group included staff from PSARC, Women Against Abuse, Lutheran Settlement House, HIAS PA, Dinah, and the Office of Domestic Violence Strategies. Michael Adjei-Poku, MPH, assisted on this project in completion of fieldwork for his degree. This project would not have been possible without the work and collaboration of the working group, Shared Safety members for providing additional suggestions and feedback, and the many survivors in Philadelphia who completed the needs assessment survey that helped inform this project.

This project was supported by funding from Shared Safety, awarded through the Philadelphia City Fund.

Shared Safety: Housing Priorities Working Group Report

A Snapshot of Domestic Violence Housing Resources Before the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Philadelphia Screen for Experience of Relational Violence (P-SERV)

This screening tool was developed by Shared Safety members for health and human services professionals to routinely and universally identify people experiencing relational violence. The P-SERV screening tool assesses for victimization of relational violence and for use of harmful behavior in a relationship.
